Isotope Teleportation and Transmolecularization
Know we've posted this before, but it documents one of the most important visits to Earth from all time. There really is no better way to prepare yourself From Ever Since.

A Little Goes A Long Way
Just a comb in the grease
will make the do stay tight
a little bread and water
you won't get hungry til night
it's supposed to take two
and shawty doing it with one
I put holes in your armor
and I ain't got a gun
Hey Hey a little goes a long way
Need more than a little
but not too much
pushed to excess
but not feelin' right in my gut
did more with what they had
old hits still ringing true
it worked for them
and it can sure work for you, tell it to me now
Hey Hey a little goes a long way
You can find me on the up
ain't never coming down
you can pat me on the back
can't break my crown
late to bed late to rise
don't need another try
little girl in the stockings
gonna make you howl and cry wonder why say
Hey Hey a little goes a long way
The Traveller
Well, I been down and I been up
where I'm going now that's the question
Well, I been down but I'm not playing around
I got some places I gotta be, I got somewhere I gotta see
You can call me a Traveller
Chug-a-lug
I come from a place down south
and I'm constantly trying to get out
I seen so many things that looks allright
and I'm counting stars each and every night
You can call me a Traveller
Chug-a-lug
Well I don't know where I'm gonna end up
and I'm not saying it matters much
I got to be free, free to be me
I know its slow, on the chug-a-lug here I go
You can call me a Traveller
Chug-a-lug
The Tribe's Hatchet
Snakeskin space boots, the hen is home to roost
the silver lining in the jump suit, new recruit
get caught, bantu knot it don't cost a lot
the only chloroform that's store bought, sure shot
real good time
in your prime
the last child
stay awhile
black and mild
He was 33, think they called him B
keep me pressing repeat
never let me sleep, cologne on the sleeve
sure was a sight to see
I got a beat, a feat I gotta reach
never take a back seat
he worked it out made me scream and shout
he made me E Ahh E
I'm feelin' grateful
so I share my love with you
Super Double Buzz
Super Double Buzz keep your heart off the dollar
he ain't got a leash but you know he got a collar
candy paint full of stank make me wanna holler
if it ain't about the love, don't even bother
If you've got a problem first look inside to solve 'em
If you've got a problem don't expect for me to solve 'em
If you've got a problem first look inside to solve 'em
If you've got a problem don't expect for me to solve 'em
Super Double Buzz keep your heart off the dollar
he ain't got a leash but you know he got a collar
If we all work together we can come up out of squalor
If it ain't about the love, don't even bother
If you've got a problem first look inside to solve 'em
If you've got a problem don't expect for me to solve 'em
If you've got a problem first look inside to solve 'em
If you've got a problem don't expect for me to solve 'em
And the water keep runnin' runnin' runnin' runnin'
and the water don't stop
Know That Feelin'
Know that feelin' when you're on that high
When creativity gets the best of you
and you think and you work and create
the sublime and then you show and prove
and you take that flight, universal sight
and you work and you work and you work
til its right, it feels good
you know it feels good
exactly how it should
Know that feelin' when you're on that high
My skin is creepy crawly
my heart can't stand still
my feet got a mind of their own
I just gotta keep it real
I got a feelin' that I can shake
I got a feelin' that won't be moved
Know that feelin'
when you're on that high
everything just shines
do you draw the line
when its all the time
need a reason why
but it passed you by
if you look to the sky
take wing and fly
You know it feels good
exactly how it should
I got a feelin' that I can't shake
I got a feelin' that won't be moved
Jack Move
Times are hard and jobs are few
people round here are ruff and rude
doesn't matter if you're broke or paid
when man comes around here you're gonna pay
he'll pull a
Jack move in a caper
Things gettin' shady, I'll see you later
Oooooh they want your money and your culture too
thieve all your seeds so you can't bear fruit
If that ain't enough, they'll jack your privacy
ain't leavin' you with much
try and tell them that you want it back
they look at you like you ain't been jacked
that's how you know the caper's been pulled
they're tryna play you for a motha fuckin fool
cuz its a
Jack move in a caper
things getting shady, I'll see you later
Light As A Feather
Can't waste my time, just got this one life
I'm fly, I'm grind, you should have got in line
Not trying to check your time, or decide your plight
I just know what's right for me and i had to decide
I don't wanna let you go, but I'd rather see us grow
No hating, I'm not mad, you should have checked what you had
Been thru enough to know when its time to bust a move
I got to be out, and there ain't know 'bout a doubt
Ooooooh won't you come on down
If its Light as a feather i might keep it around
We've tried, its true and even though baby, I love you
Feels wrong to pretend, instead of good livin'
Soul reflections, like vacations, ya dig?
I want a love and I want it real big
and I won't give in, no damn fiction
I been thru enough to know when its time for us to move
I got to be out, and there ain't no 'bout a doubt
Oooooh won't you come on down
If its light as a feather I might keep it around
Up top, down low, left right, bounce and flow
Take It Off
Stressed out, feeling just
blood is rising, come the pits
cool enough, so you thought
can't be taught, can't be bought
You're on dry wall, round the mix
I guess you're waiting for a little fix
gonna give you what you want
put it on, your cool is a stunt, so
Put on your cool, you can't afford to take it off
Your face is cracking baby, you better fix it quick
your mask is breaking baby, you can't put up with it
you better do it, you better do it fast
you don't want to be left last in class
you better do it, you better do it right
you don't want to be left alone tonight, so
Put on your cool, you can't afford to take it off
Balm Yard
The West Side's on Fire, Let it burn, burn, burn
The West Side's on Fire, Let it burn, burn, burn
The West Side's on Fire, Let it burn, burn, burn
The West Side's on Fire, Let it burn, burn, burn
Where you taking me?
To the West Side
How we gonna get there?
We gone ride
Why we goin there?
Its on Fire
When we gonna get there?
2, 3, 4, 5
The West Side's on Fire, Let it burn, burn, burn
The West Side's on Fire, Let it burn, burn, burn
The West Side's on Fire, Let it burn, burn, burn
The West Side's on Fire, Let it burn, burn, burn
West side is on fire and we're gonna let it burn
We ain't got no water so its cause for concern
Better get it hot, so you can take a turn
West Side is on fire and we're gonna let it burn
Let it burn, burn, burn

Since From Ever Since
Looks like we're only gonna have the first 50 of 300 LP's for the show, but we'll have plenty of CD's. Travis Thatcher is moving to New York, Circuit Diva to St. Louis, which means this Friday, you have a lot of firsts and lasts hacked with The Tribe's Hatchet. 3am Vodka/Mentalfist Records throw their Machete as well. Speakeasy or you might want a ticket.

Sauced
We'll be at Sauced on Friday nite to give the test press of "From Ever Since" a proper spin as well as plenty of other funky hors d'oeuvres that will wash down nicely with a Dixie Cup or a Mickey's Grenade. How's 10 pm sound? 753 Edgewood Ave.

RIP Sugar Minott
I remember grabbing this album from Hoodlum's in Tempe, AZ, having learned about it from an Easy Star records e-mail (they used to spam me with info on what sounded like the dopest parties in NYC). Never got to see Sugar live, but I always wondered if Goodie Mob knew they shared a track title.

Kenn Two Four
Kenn Two Four did some design on the record as well. Kenn's been helping out since he took me around metro Atlanta tryna find an amp back in '94.
JLP
We met Jerrod Landon Porter on tour and he did typography, layout. and revised the Shakedown Records logo.
